In early February, a Chinese baby boy was born. The baby boy was born prematurely and had to remain in an incubator. The boy stayed in the incubator for 23 days until the boy’s father took him home for the Lunar New Year. The baby’s condition began to worsen over the next couple of days until the newborn was declared dead on February 4, 2016. The death seemed certain, as it was determined by the absence of a beating heart. Shortly after, the baby was sent to the morgue. What was the crazy part? The father of the newborn wrapped the child in 2 layers of clothing and a large bag, which is apparently what made the difference. The boy remained in the morgue, of 10.4 degrees Fahrenheit, and amazingly survived because of the clothing. Not knowing the baby was alive, the baby was to be cremated. Luckily, the child moaned, just in time and unaware he had just saved his own life. While the baby boy is alive, doctors are being very cautious in his recovery. This seems more than appropriate after the baby almost ‘died’ for the second time.
